Novelties of heirloom seeds for the Second week of December 2018



The assortment of goods of our store has been replenished, - novelties of heirloom seeds. All the seeds before packaging are tested for germination and variety, so you can be sure that the plant that is mentioned in the description will grow.
 
Fruit bodies (4 to 6 cm diameter) with gelatine-like to rubbery texture, and dark brown to black share, depending on the humidity. Little infection of insect larva’s, and a very long storage capacity. Easy to grow.
 
Mid-season variety, plant up to 1,4 m. Fruits are orange-blue, with blue strips and spots. The flesh is orange in pink spots, weight is 600-800 grams. Some fruits grow to 1 kg or more. The taste is excellent, very fragrant, with exotic fruits.
 
Fabulous, sweet fruity taste in a huge, clear lemon-yellow beefsteak tomato make this variety outstanding. Some of the 1 to 2 lb. fruit have a pink blush on their blossom ends. This is an heirloom variety that grows on large plants.
 
Dark Queen is a purple bi-color tomato that can reach 10 ounces. Its vines are not too tall, perhaps 5 feet, and produce a later crop of really good slicers. Fruits begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant and go all the way till frost.
 
Eastern White Pine is called one of the best pines for ornamental use. It is conical when young, more open when older. The branches are slightly ascending and bark is deeply furrowed. Blue-green needles grow to 4 inches.

Tiger Paw Aster seeds will produce this tall, showy variety of Asters. Aster seeds grow quickly and these flowers bloom heavily all season long. Aster Callistephus are great flowers for the cutting garden. With long 30 inch stems and huge, double blooms.
 
Bright, lemon-yellow petals surround a lime-green disk. 4-6" blooms. Also known as common sunflower and annual sunflower. Pollenless. Single stem. Ht. 48-60".
 
This is an excellent flower for the cutting garden that can be grown from Ammobium Alatum seeds. It is also called, Winged Everlasting, and is very popular to cut, dry and use as an everlasting. As soon as the Ammobium flowers open about half way.
 
For intense color saturation on neat, compact plants that really take the summer heat, Vista is unbeatable! This charmer begins flowering early (before the end of spring in most climates) and continues up to frost.
 
One of the most popular wildflowers grown in the United States, Coreopsis Tinctoria is also one of the easiest to grow from flower seeds. Used primarily for landscape beautification, it brightens up any setting.
 
Aster Callistephus is a mid to late season bloomer, but they last into fall and frost season. With a height of 24 inches and strong upright growth, Aster flowers are prized for cutting. They have sturdy stems and a long vase-life.
