Swiss garden pansy seeds are sown at the beginning of summer to a hotbed or a seed bed. Seeds germinate quickly and you may expect the emergence within 2 - 3 weeks. Transfer the seedlings to the permanent site in autumn or early spring, keeping 20 - 25 cm spacings between the plants. This species blooms both in the sun and partial shade. It does not have many requirements in regard to the soil. In fact, standard garden soil will suit its needs.
