  • Tomato "Eros"

Mid-season, tall, indeterminate tomato variety with unusual fruit shapes. Recommended for cultivation in greenhouses and in the open field with a garter to the support.

A bush with an ordinary leaf, up to 1.8 meters high, the fruits are collected in clusters (5-7 pieces each). It is best to form this variety in 3 stems. Fruits are dense, elongated, forked at the end. They resemble the Auria variety, only they are at the stage of maturity, yellow and slightly smaller. Fruit weight up to 150 grams.

These tomatoes are good for pickling and canning, perfect for drying. The variety is very productive. Sowing seeds for seedlings is carried out 60-65 days before the intended planting in the ground. When planting seedlings to a permanent place of 1 sq. m it is recommended to place up to 3 plants.

    Agrotechnics
Heat-loving culture. Grown by seedlings or sowing in open ground. The seedlings are sown from 1 to 10 March in 10x10 cm nutrient pots. Seedlings grow in cups for 55-60 days before planting in the garden. They are planted in a permanent place in the second decade of May according to a 50x50 cm scheme.

To obtain a high and early harvest, tomatoes planted in the garden in early May are temporarily covered with a transparent film until the onset of warm weather. The best predecessors are legumes, pumpkin seeds, root crops, and green crops. Cannot be planted after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, physalis.

A sunny place, protected from cold winds, is allocated for planting; loamy soils with the addition of organic fertilizers are preferred.
