The assortment of goods of our store has been replenished, - novelties of heirloom seeds. All the seeds before packaging are tested for germination and variety, so you can be sure that the plant that is mentioned in the description will grow.
 
A pretty unique one. Yugoslavian Fingers is a big, creamy goose egg with 8 to 10 pointed fingers protruding from all around. This is a pepo type so you can eat them when young and they are delicious.
 
It is an early ripe variety of kitchen use. The plant is short. The fruit is oblate, light gray. The flesh is orange, crunchy, sweet, juicy. The taste is excellent. It is resistant to low temperatures and other adverse conditions.
 
Tours novelty pumpkin, a unique French heirloom, looks much like a watermelon and add interest to your fall displays. Its tall upright shaped fruit are dark green in color and have light yellow-orange stripes that run from the top to the bottom.
 
Novelty bicolor mini pumpkins. A spooky little Halloween ornamental. Three inch rounded fruits weighing about 1/4 pound each are a unique orange and dark green color when harvested early, becoming fully orange at maturity. Semi-bush vines.
 
The variety is very early. Bush plant. Forms white with a ribbed skirt fruits with a diameter of 7-10 cm, having a delicate delicious taste. Very valuable for conservation. Grown as usual scallop seedlings or sowing in the ground.
 
A Patty Pan heirloom summer squash. First grown by the native americans and depicted by European settler as far back to 1591. This is still one of the best tasting and yielding varieties around today! Great fried and baked.
 
Open Pollinated. Plant produces good yields of large 20" long light green gourds. Best if grown on trellis or fence. Perfect for making crafts. Excellent choice for home gardens.
 
Grow mammoth 7’ long gourds and amaze your family. Super tasty fruit are tender up to 4’ long. The tenderness and great flavor made them a favorite in our kitchen. Fun for craft projects and entering garden fairs.
 
Early ripe watermelon variety. Ripens on 70 - 80 day after emergence of shoots. The fruits are large, round, weighing 2.7-3.0 kg. The surface of the fruit is smooth, the color is black and green the pattern is slightly noticeable narrow strips with a wax.
 
Mid-early large-fruited variety of Siberian breeders. The plant is strong, 100-170 cm tall. The fruits are crimson-red, fleshy, beautifully heart-shaped. The skin is thick, smooth.
 
Pink Elephant is a 10-16 ounce beefsteak that grows on potato leaf vines. Fruits are intense, with plenty sweetness and very juicy. It’s a great sandwich and slicing tomato. Vines are great with diseases. First fruits ripen about 80 days after transplant.
 
Superearly undersized, over-productive variety of tomato. Plant up to 80 cm high, not thick, requires a garter, but can be grown without support and pinching. Fruits are round, red, dense, fleshy, weighing up to 100 grams.
 
One of the best shelling varieties. The plant is short, strong, early ripe, in which the ripening of the first pods occurs by 55-60 days. Beans with a beautiful oblong shape and a length of 1.5-2 cm, dark red with small patches of white.
 
Although now commonly referred to simply as 'Navy' beans, into the middle part of the twentieth century they were more commonly known as "Navy Peas." This name is in reference to it being a staple food stock for the American Navy in the early years.
 
Large mounds of wavy, green, glossy, pointed leaves demonstrate both sun and drought tolerance. Fragrant, white flowers appear on 35" to 40" scapes in late summer; fragrance is most pronounced in the evening.
 
The fruits are smooth, dark-green with white spines, fifteen to eighteen inches long, curved on strong vines. Tolerance exhibited for some races of powdery mildew and downy mildew, tolerant to some strains of cucumber mosaic virus, and resistant to scab.

This is a medium early variety. The vegetation period from germination to mass fruiting 45-55 days. The fruit is oval-cylindrical, green, 8-12 cm long, weighing 90-100 grams, does not yellow. The variety is suitable for salting and preservation.
 
This is a mid-season variety for open ground. The vegetation period from germination to fruiting 48-52 days. Duration of fruiting is 30-35 days. Fruits are dark green, tuberculate, elongated-oval in shape, 10-12 cm long, 70-80g in weight, good taste.
 
Considered a staple corn of the Hopi people, this corn can be eaten as a sweet corn when young, or allowed to dry it can be used to make flour. Hopi Blue has a higher protein content than a dent corn and makes wonderful tortillas.
 
This variety, originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, is a dent corn characterized by green kernels that make it a choice ornamental variety. This type of corn also tends to be high in corn starch and is ideal for grinding into corn meal.
 
This is an early ripe variety. The plant is medium. The ear is slightly cone-shaped, 20-22 cm long, the grain is yellow. The variety is relatively resistant to emergence. Tastes of fresh-cooked cobs are unsurpassed. Dining and canning appointment.
 
Popcorn, multicolored kernels, tasty, beautiful decoration for the decor. Used for processing into flakes, making corn sticks and high-quality cereals.
 
This amazing bicolour corn forms on a 2m (6′) plant. The kernels of Luscious are tender and the ears will hold their sweetness for two weeks after harvest if they are properly cooled and refrigerated. The big, blunt, 20cm (8″) cobs are well wrapped.
 
The beautiful pink to mauve kernels are attractive for decoration. This is not a variety for eating corn on the cob, but rather for drying and popping. The stately tall plants are attractive in the summer garden.
 
Recent conventional corn breeding has produced this outstanding triplesweet with two types of kernels on each cob: 75% sugary enhanced (SE), and 25% super sweet (sh2). Honey Select corn seeds were bred for the home gardener.
 
Bodacious ears are large at 20cm (8″) and very sweet and tender. The husk is an attractive dark-green colour and kernels are bright yellow and tender. Bodacious corn seeds are highly recommended for home grown corn on the cob or freezing.
 
The bright color of the kernels indicate a high nutrient content, making it an excellent corn for decoration or for eating! Painted Mountain corn can be eaten fresh, ground, or roasted and makes a highly nutritious flour for muffins, johnny cakes.
 
Grow Setaria italica seeds for a vigorous, robust annual millet that has many uses. Known as Foxtail Millet, Setaria Macrocheata is used in dried and fresh cut flower arrangements to give vertical accent.
Blueberries are expensive at the market, but you can grow your own for relatively very low cost. Fill your yard with rows of the fruit-bearing berry bushes. Highbush Blueberry, which is native to North America.
 
Morus Alba, commonly known as White Mulberry, is native to China. White Mulberry is a small- to medium-sized, fast-growing, deciduous tree. Its leaves have been used in China since 2600 B.C. as the primary diet for silkworms used to make silk.
 
The Black Mulberry is a medium sized deciduous tree usually only to 20 to 30 feet, but can reach 70 feet. Trees are known to be very long lived and can bear fruit for several hundred years. Mulberry trees are either dioecious or monoecious.
 
The tree has small white flowers. It produces small, bright red berries. The fruit is bitter and astringent, making it inedible when raw. The fruit can be cooked to make jellies, jams, sauces and marmalade. It ranges from southern Europe to western Asia.
 
A large shrub, originally native to montane forests in the Andes of South America, but now widely cultivated for its delicious fruits, which, under a thin, green peel, has very sweet, soft, white, custard-like flesh that can be scooped out with a spoon.
 
You do not have to start your blueberries from cuttings or nursery shrubs. For the patient gardener, though, growing blueberry shrubs from seed can give you excellent results.
 
The Feijoa or Pineapple Guava is a container plant with green, egg-shaped fruits that taste sweet-sour and smell like pineapples. They can be eaten fresh or, for example, be mixed in salads or pies.
 
Much grown in the tropics for its delicious fruits. In this country it is grown for interest and as a foliage plant as it has large, handsome leaves. The leaves can be used for wrapping round pieces of tough meat with the object of tenderising them.
 
Some varieties of the oilseed radish act as good soil bio fumigant. They are good at killing soil pathogens, pest and also suppressing weeds.
 
Called "Queen of the Herbs" in Ireland, where its tendency to grow under elder trees imbued it with elder’s magical reputation. In England it became a common treatment for "king’s evil," or scrofula (tuberculosis of the lymphatic glands).
 
Hailing from Northern China, this heirloom will soon become one of your favorites! Sweet flavor with acrisp texture, Suyo Long Cucumbers are great fresh from the garden, or as a pickling cucumber.
 
Early maturing and good standing with very high yields. A good choice for underseeding with a legume. Oats are a quick-growing green manure. For winter cover, sow by early Sept. in the North, slightly later farther south.

With plenty to recommend it, Sea Buckthorn is widely used for healing in Asia and Europe, where it is valued as a potent anti-oxidant, a source for Vitamin C and a healing oil. The attractive small tree or shrub, also called Seaberry.
 
Grow your own apricot fruit. The Apricot tree grows to 26-39 feet tall. The Apricot is slightly more cold hardy than the Peach tree and can tolerate winters up to - 30 degrees or lower if healthy.
 
One of the hardiest wine grapes. Vigorous vines consistently produce abundant large clusters of small blue-black berries. Makes a full-bodied, high-quality red wine with a cherry bouquet.
 
Early ripe, productive grade, with high, strong plants to 2 meters. The fruits are round, yellow in color, weighing 15-20 grams. Dense, crack-resistant, not showered, even when overriding. The taste is unique, as if with the addition of a flavor.
 
Medium-sized blue tomato with high anthocyanin content. Healthy vines produced well all season long. Gorgeous colored blue-yellow juicy fruits with sweet favor and hint of citrus grow up to 150 g.
