Ruta graveolens - commonly known as rue, common rue or herb-of-grace - is a species of Ruta grown as a herb. It is native to the Balkan Peninsula. It is now grown throughout the world as an ornamental plant in gardens.
The Herb of Grace. Traditionally holy water was sprinkled during Mass with a brush made of Rue. Aromatic shrub with attractive blue-green foliage and a pungent aroma. Good for short hedges or borders due to upright, bushy habit.
