An annual spicy-aromatic plant with a pleasant smell of fresh cucumber, the leaf is medium-sized, sessile, dark green, with a faint waxy coating, oblong in shape, slightly wrinkled, blue flower.

A beautiful hardy annual herb with rough leaves covered in silvery hairs and the most attractive celestial blue flowers. Nectar rich borage flowers are particularly attractive to pollinating insects, including bees which make distinctive flavoured borage.

It makes strawberries fruit more heavily, keeps hornworms off the tomatoes, and increases yields of cucumbers, gourds, and other fruiting plants. Borage is more than just a pleasant edible herb.
