«Apple of Peru» - Organic Nicandra Seeds (Nicandra Physalodes)

'Zimmer Spanish' is an old cigar binder-type variety dating back prior to 1880. It is said to be an improved "Havana-type" like 'Wilson's Hybrid'. The suckered plants reach about four feet in height producing fourteen to twenty quality leaves per plant.

It has a unique aroma of prunes with a vanilla plume, is easily fermented, very unpretentious, mainly used as a pipe.

The shag has a golden color, a distinctive taste and smell of smoke. Vergun is produced only from raw materials of higher and middle grades.

Each plant produces wonderfully sweet bell peppers that are typically 4 lobed, thick-walled, and blocky. The leafy plant habit provides good scald protection and the large rich green fruit turn red on the bush.
