Tomato "Heat Giant"
An early, productive and unpretentious variety of the author's selection. Bush indet. medium-sized, strong, about 1.5 m high. Fruits are bright red, fleshy and very tasty, weighing 500-600 grams.
Some reach a weight of 1 kg or more. Thanks to its strong root system, the variety has a very high productivity and marketability. It is well suited for processing into tomato juice, great in salads. The fruits can be stored for up to three weeks without losing their taste. It bears fruit before frost.
Agrotechnics
Heat-loving culture. Grown by seedlings or sowing in open ground. The seedlings are sown from 1 to 10 March in 10x10 cm nutrient pots. Seedlings grow in cups for 55-60 days before planting in the garden. They are planted in a permanent place in the second decade of May according to a 50x50 cm scheme.
To obtain a high and early harvest, tomatoes planted in the garden in early May are temporarily covered with a transparent film until the onset of warm weather. The best predecessors are legumes, pumpkin seeds, root crops, and green crops. Cannot be planted after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, physalis.
A sunny place, protected from cold winds, is allocated for planting; loamy soils with the addition of organic fertilizers are preferred.
