Tomato "Jack in the Box Dean's"Very early, indoor, high-yield and unpretentious cultivar of author's selection from the USA. Determinate bush, standard, strong, about 30 cm high.
When grown outdoors, with the onset of autumn, it is very easy to transplant it into a large pot and bring it into the house! Thus, you can extend its fruiting for the autumn-winter period and delight yourself with sweet tomatoes all winter. Fruits are small, round, red with golden stripes, very decorative, weighing 50-70 grams, very sweet, juicy, perfect for fresh consumption and preservation.
Heat-loving culture. Grown by seedlings or sowing in open ground. The seedlings are sown from 1 to 10 March in 10x10 cm nutrient pots. Seedlings grow in cups for 55-60 days before planting in the garden. They are planted in a permanent place in the second decade of May according to a 50x50 cm scheme.
To obtain a high and early harvest, tomatoes planted in the garden in early May are temporarily covered with a transparent film until the onset of warm weather. The best predecessors are legumes, pumpkin seeds, root crops, and green crops. Cannot be planted after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, physalis.
A sunny place, protected from cold winds, is allocated for planting; loamy soils with the addition of organic fertilizers are preferred.
