Organic Viola «Swiss Giant Flame»
Garden pansies are very popular spring flowers. The multitude of offered varieties, that differ in size and shape of the blooms, provide us with countless arrangement options.
Garden pansies are used for planting on lower borders and flower beds. Pansies are indespensible in home gardens, on city squares and flower lawns. These plants also fit into ornamental pots, boxes and containers. You may use the large-flowered garden pansy variety mix to produce your own seedlings that you may plant in your favourite garden spots. You may also decorate interiors with garden pansies in the spring.
A colourful arrangement will brighten the room and introduce a truly spring feel to it. Cut garden pansies used in fresh bouquets and floral wreaths will serve their purpose for a long time. They are often planted as grave decoration because of their sturdiness and frost resistance. Garden pansies find their use in kitchen, too. Colourful petals can be added to salads and used as garnish. Their tender taste will also complement pies and cakes.
Cultivation of garden pansies does not present any problems. Large, colourful flowers with a black dot will delight even the beginning gardeners. Compact, round and branched garden pansy tufts create an enchanting gardend decoration from early spring until the middle of summer. These biennial plants should be planted on well lit or partially shady sites.
