«Orpheus» - Organic Watermelon Seeds

We offer most of our sweet cherry trees on both standard (Mazzard) and dwarfing (Gisela) rootstocks. Mazzard rootstocks produce a vigorous tree with excellent anchorage and will begin bearing in 3 to 4 years. Mature trees will be 25 feet tall or more.

Early rippe variety. From germination to fruiting 48-50 days. The plant is bushy, branching. Disc-like fruits with jagged edges, malachite color, weighing 300-400 grams. On one plant 10-20 fruits ripen.

Mid-season variety, bush about 1.3 m high. Fruits are sweet, elongated, very fleshy, almost seedless, tender, tasty flesh, average weight 100-250 grams. Tomatoes are variegated on the outside, saturated red on the inside.

Although now commonly referred to simply as 'Navy' beans, into the middle part of the twentieth century they were more commonly known as "Navy Peas." This name is in reference to it being a staple food stock for the American Navy in the early years.
