Mountain sweet goodness! This heirloom has been grown for generations in the Monongahela National Forest region of West Virginia. Fruits are 3-10 oz., orange-red, meaty, and perfectly round with a mild, but good tomato flavor. Very productive plants.

This is a late-ripening variety. Vegetation period from shoots to ripeness 120-130 days. Roots are lined, large, 25-30 cm long, weighing 100-200 grams, do not crack. The variety has a genetic ability to absorb the minimum amount of nitrates.
