Redcurrants are closely related to blackcurrants, but are generally grown more like gooseberries in individual groups. They thrive well in northern regions and tolerate part shade well, but the fruits will ripen more quickly and taste sweeter.

Красная смородина – близкий родственник чёрной смородины, но её обычно выращивают отдельными группами, как и крыжовник. Она хорошо растёт в северных регионах и хорошо переносит полутень, но плоды созревают быстрее и становятся слаще на открытом солнце.
Хотя они и выглядят очень похожими, у них довольно резкий и совершенно другой вкус, чем у их черных сородичей, и они производят всего несколько довольно крупных семян.
Советы по посеву
Семена можно сеять в любое время года в песчаный компост и тонко присыпать песком или гравием. Искусственное отопление не требуется. Лоток с семенами лучше всего оставить в прохладном месте и поддерживать влажность. Семена обычно прорастают весной, когда бы они ни были посеяны, но отдельные всходы могут появиться в любое время.

Dewberries are similar to blackberries, except they are larger and milder, ripen 7-10 days earlier, and grow on a vine rather than a bush. Large 1" by 1 1/2" glossy, blue-black berries are sweet and delicious. 2-year-old plants are shipped.
