    Spike Speedwell is one of the most decorative perennial plants; it grows 30 to 50 centimetres in height and produces raised shoots that develop glamorous loose spikes.

    It blooms rampantly from July to September. It is the beautiful blue spikes that is the most admired element of this plant and the reason why this variety is considered to have an exceptionally high ornamental potential. Spike Speedwell is ideal for perennial beds as well as for growing in larger clusters.

    Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes from May to June. Prick the seedlings out into a hotbed. Plant out into a permanent position in 25-30cm spacings in August. Grow the plants in medium thick soils in sunny positions.
