It is a small-sized type of chili pepper that is appreciated for the special burningness remaining in the mouth after eating. This is a jalapeno with bright orange fruits. Fruits are more elongated than ordinary Jalapenos and look like carrots. From each bush can be removed from 25 to 50 fruits, as they grow and ripen.
Reddened fruits are considered to be of lower quality than green ones, therefore green jalapenos are used for canning and pickling.
Dates from planting to ripening 75-90 days. The plant reaches a height of up to 50 cm. High taste, versatility of use and good productivity.
Jalapeno is named after the city of Jalapa, State of Veracruz (Mexico).
