    The magnificent Mexican black turtle bean known as Tampico is especially popular in Latin American cuisine as well as in southern Louisiana.

    This is an improved variety, obtained by selection in the cold conditions of Montana, and originally harvested in a village in Mexico.

    Small black beans with a rich taste and fleshy structure due to their color are very rich in antioxidants.

    This variety is grown as green beans, as the pods remain tender for a long time, but still its main purpose is a dry bean with high-quality grain.

    This hardy bean ripens in the middle of the season. The blades are harvested after 60 days, and it takes about 100 days from seedlings to collect dry seeds. A semi-bush variety producing a sprawling bush about 90 cm high, and the pods are located high above the ground.

    This haricot is well tolerated by heat, resistant to disease, very productive. It is advisable to support plants with a net or stakes, this will increase the yield.
