Kakadu peppers are used fresh, fried, stewed, stuffed and pickled for food. Mid-season (130-135 days from germination to the start of fruiting), highly productive hybrid for growing in greenhouses.
The plant is tall (up to 1.5 m), spreading. The fruits are drooping, weighing up to 500 g, elongated-cylindrical, slightly curved, bright red. The length of the fruit reaches 25-30 cm!
Wall thickness 6-8 mm. The fruits are very tasty, sweet, with aromatic pulp. The yield of one plant is 2.5-3.0 kg. Sowing seedlings - at the end of February. The seeding depth is up to 1 cm. Picking is in the cotyledon phase. Planting in the ground - at the end of May. Shaping: removing all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork. Planting pattern: 40x80 cm.
You cannot plant seedlings of sweet and hot pepper varieties next to each other, because... cross-pollination occurs and the sweet pepper acquires a bitter taste.
