This is a mix of Aster Truffaunt's Peony plants. It is an annual variety that grows 50-70 centimetres in height with rigid upright shoots which produce exceptionally decorative globular inflorescences in several colours, including white, yellow, orange, red, or purple.
Aster Truffaunt's Peony, which is an excellent addition to any flower bed, is highly valued as a gorgeous cut flower and can serve as a decoration in flower arrangements.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from March to April. The seeds germinate in 7 to 14 days at 15-18oC. Plant out into flower beds in 30x40cm spacings in May. This variety requires medium moist fertile soils and sunny or semi-shaded positions. The plants can be transplanted and require to be protected from aphids. 4 to 5 grams of seeds produce around one thousand plants.
