Planting and caring for cherries Zhurba
Sweet cherry is a seedling with a closed root system. It is advisable to plant it in a sunny place and carefully consider the choice of soil, because fertile land will serve as a guarantee that the seedlings will take root, but cherries do not tolerate a sandy and clay environment very well. It is imperative to plant several varieties for cross-pollination (the neighborhood with cherries is also suitable).

The depth of the pit for planting should be at least 80 cm. The optimum distance between trees is at least 3 m. It is advisable to fertilize the pit by a third with soil mixtures, which are prepared in the following proportions: 35 kg of manure or humus, 1 liter of wood ash, 1 kg of potash fertilizer, 3 kg of superphosphate, 2 kg of ammonium sulfate, 2 buckets of earth.

At the bottom of the pit, you also need to install a support post to which you will tie the seedling. Having straightened the root system, you need to place the tree in a hole, sprinkle it with earth, tamping it slightly. Next, tie the cherries to the support.

NECESSARILY! The level of the root collar is 3-5 cm above the ground.

After planting, the cherries need to be watered and mulched with leaves or humus.

When leaving, you need to remember a few simple points: weed the weeds regularly, mulch the ground every year, and water after fertilization (abundant watering 3 times a season).
