The ripening period is different, depending on the purpose: for boiled consumption, 70-80 days are enough, and full maturity occurs in 100-110 days. The plant is not tall - 150 cm, forms 2 heads of cabbage 15-20 cm long. The grains have a huge range of colors and shades that cannot be predicted; they are intertwined in one cob, forming a stalk of unusual beauty. Blue, red, white, golden yellow, bright orange colors with many additional shades can be found on one cob. The decorative properties of the Montana Multicolor variety are valued in floristry.
