Rumex sanguineus, known by a number of different common names including bloody dock or red-veined dock, is a tap-rooted rosette-forming perennial of the buckwheat family that typically grows in a rounded foliage clump to 18” tall and as wide.

Arguably the best tasting Red Chard with a mild, juicy flavour and, unlike many Red Chards, has no harsh aftertastes. With excellent tolerance to downy mildew, Chard 'Fantasy' is ideal for successional sowings through the spring and summer.

A mid-season variety of celery, delicate fragrant leaves are used both fresh and dried, as a seasoning for soups, salads and canning, and are characterized by a quick and abundant growth of greens after harvest.

A wonderful early variety of bright salad with crispy leaves of a sweet taste, has a solid, half-raised rosette, weighing up to 500 grams, the leaves have an intense red-violet color, the edges are wavy, very attractive.

The bush is indeterminate, stamping, strong, about 100 cm high. Medium sized, round, orange with green stripes, very decorative, weighing 200-300 grams, very sweet, juicy, excellent for fresh consumption and preservation. Flesh is orange-green.

An early ripening variety, the vegetation period from planting to harvesting is 65-75 days. The head is dark green, dense, with a fine texture, medium in size, grows to a weight of 1 kilogram.
