«Bursa» - Organic Tobacco Seeds

Bred by the breeding laboratory of the Crimean Experimental Station of Tobacco-growing IVAV Magarach with the method of intraspecific hybridization from crossing Dübec 44 × Oktyabrsky 6 varieties, receiving the first generation in the greenhouse, in 1981.

Monte Calme Yellow grows to 5-6 feet in height with 12-14 leaves to the crowfoot. The leaves are a dark green with light colored stems, and grow up to 30 inches long and 20 inches wide. It produces some of the largest and heaviest leaf.

It has a unique aroma of prunes with a vanilla plume, is easily fermented, very unpretentious, mainly used as a pipe.

It differs from most varieties in that it has a petiolate leaf, this plant has a cylindrical shape, and an average height of 100-150 cm, this variety of tobacco has a high nicotine content, hence its frequent use as a mono-tobacco.

Plants with finely toothed leaves, dark green in color, very aromatic, have a sharp-bitter taste.

Prefers open sunny areas, but tolerates slight shading, is frost-resistant, grows in any garden soil.

An annual plant with creeping side shoots, 50-70 cm long, funnel-shaped flowers, 7-9 cm in diameter, completely covering the plant during flowering, forming a purple-burgundy cascade.

It is characterized by hemispherical, sometimes spherical inflorescences, consisting of wide boat-shaped, reed flowers, directed upwards and bent inward, multi-colored, retain their decorative effect in water for a very long time.
