  • Tomato «Piennolo del Vesuvio yellow»

Is an early-ripening variety, with plants reaching 1.5–1.8 m in height. The plants have potato-type leaves, and each cluster carries 7–9 fruits weighing up to 30 grams. At full maturity, the fruits are rich yellow plums with an elongated tip and two ridges along the fruit. They do not crack or fall off.

Clusters can be cut and transported directly. The yield is high. Fruits are very firm, long-keeping, and sweet. Long storage is ensured by the very high dry matter content in the fruits, and preservation is guaranteed by the dense skin. During storage, tomatoes of this variety do not rot but rather dry slightly.
