China Aster ‘Princess Mix’ is a mix of annual china asters with glamorous large multi-coloured inflorescences that produce mostly tubular flowers.
Contrary to dwarf aster varieties, which grow up to 30 centimetres in height, China Aster ‘Princess Mix’ is a variety that grows as tall as 80 centimetres. This plant is an excellent cut flower and looks gorgeous when grown in flower beds.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from March to April. The seeds germinate in around 14 days at 16-20oC. Plant out into flower beds in 30x30cm spacings in May. This variety prefers sunny positions and flowers from July to October.
