Clover is resistant to many diseases and pests. It is also capable of accumulating nitrogen in the root system, thereby significantly increasing soil fertility. This feature is possible thanks to clover root nodules, which contain unique bacteria that absorb nitrogen from the air.
Resistant to stress (trampling) and etching (eating), it grows actively. A plant that improves the soil (due to symbiosis with nodule bacteria, they fix atmospheric nitrogen in the root system). Can be used to alkalize acidic soils during clover growth.
White clover absorbs nitrogen from the atmosphere and does not need fertilizing, and even shares it with its neighbors growing nearby. The plant itself is unpretentious and not demanding on soil. Various varieties of white clover can be used for sowing, but Rivendell is one of the most popular. This is a very beautiful low-growing plant up to 10 cm high with shiny green leaves. In order for the plant to take root well and not freeze in winter, sowing must be completed before August.
Clover will not grow in the shade. Prefers open sunny areas, but will tolerate light, short-term shading without pain.
Seeding rate - 5 g - 10 g per 1m2.
