Start some Aster seeds to grow this spectacular Aster Callistephus. Nothing will be brighter in your garden than this apricot Aster! Aster plants have an upright growth habit and 5-8 floral stems.
They can reach nearly 28 inches in height, and the stems are strong to make an excellent cutting flower. This King Siz Aster has exceptionally large, double blooms with incurved petals. Aster blooms resemble autumn chrysanthemums. They are very showy and stunning in either the flower border or in a vase.
Start the Aster seeds in the early spring. Press the flower seeds into the soil and lightly cover them. Transplant Aster plants outside into a position of full sun to partial shade. They also prefer well-drained soil.
