Morning Glory ‘Blue Star’ is a unique annual vine whose most attractive decorative feature is its large, 10 centimetres broad flowers in a beautiful shade of white, with a beautiful blue star in the centre of each flower.
This plant grows rampantly, up to 3 metres in length. Depending on the amount of light the plant is exposed to, its flowers open up or close. Morning Glory ‘Blue Star’ can be grown at various garden objects, such as arbours, pergolars or fences, and is often cultivated in balcony planters.
Growing: sow the seeds directly into the soil from late April to early May; sow 2 to 3 seeds into each position in 50-60cm spacings. The seeds germinate in two weeks. Grow the plants in relatively moist fertile soils in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
