A frost-resistant, winter-hardy perennial. The plant has a spreading, trailing habit and grows up to 30 cm tall. Its large, bright pink flowers reach up to 10 cm in diameter and are strongly fragrant with a pleasant scent. Blooms begin in June and continue for three months.
Seeds are sown directly into the soil from May to June. At a temperature of 18–21°C, seedlings appear within 12 to 16 days. Grows best in well-lit areas with light soil. Primarily used in group plantings and rock gardens.
