Tall chinese aster "King Size" (Callistephus chinensis) grows up to 100 cm tall and should be considered by all annual plant lovers, who care for exuberant blooming and large flowers.

This variety forms a tall, broad tussock. Double, semicircular blooms sprout atop its long, straight and thickly leaved stems in July. We offer a multi-colour mix of seeds that allows you to effectively grow a happy, colourful composition of vividly white, yellow, red, pink and purple blooms.

Seeds of the presented variety should be sown under covers in early spring. The seedlings should be transferred into ground in May. Direct sowing at the permanent site in late spring ensures equally good results.

Cultivation of the tall chinese asters "King Size" requires a warm, sunny site with a fertile, humous and permeable soil. The exuberant blooms fit perfectly into multi-species flower beds as background for lower growing asters, dahlias, dwarf zinnias, cosmoses and marigolds. They can also act as windshield for fragile, smaller plants and as material for fresh bouquets.
