«Poplar mushroom» (Agrocybe aegerita) - Organic Mushroom Spawn

Slippery Jack Mushrooms are wild mushrooms that grow in symbiotic relationship with pine and spruce trees. They grow from mid-summer to early autumn. The caps are saffron coloured or yellowish-brown, though they can be a dark chestnut brown.

Latipurus belongs to the class of xylotrophs, affects the core of the tree, the fungus contains natural antibiotics that are active against staphylococci, and is used to treat malignant and benign tumors, lung diseases.

The Flirt is common and widespread in Britain and Ireland and wherever there are oak or Beech trees on mainland Europe. The gills and stem surface of this brittlegill rapidly turn a deep salmon or rusty-pink when rubbed with iron salts (FeSO4).

This aromatic herb got its name from its common use in St. Patrick’s Day celebrations but is native to Turkey, Syria and the Caucasus. The plant made its way to Europe from Syria in 1570 and found its way to the Americas in the Victorian era.

Mid-season variety (45-50 days). Indeterminate (vine) plant. Little, crisp, dark green fruits, length 5-10 cm (2-4 in.), weight 60-80g (2-3 oz.), without bitterness and an excellent taste. Good resistance against diseases. Yields over than 2,5-4 kg/m².
