This is an annual dietary plant with fleshy leaves and shoots. It is recommended to grow through seedlings. Seeds require pre-wetting and germination before sowing. Transplantation into the ground is carried out when the seedlings are 40-50 days old in May - early June. Harvesting of greenery begins 3-4 weeks after planting the seedlings and continues until autumn.
Shoots and leaves are used for food, fresh and boiled, for soups, side dishes and purees. The shoots are suitable for canning and freezing.
