Carolina linden is a deciduous tree that grows up to 20 m at a moderate speed. It blooms in July and the seeds ripen in October.
Suitable for: light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clayey) soils and prefers well-drained soils. Suitable pH: acidic, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils. Can grow in partial shade (light forest) or without shade. Prefers moist soil.
Flower tea has antispasmodic, diaphoretic and calming effects.
