Sow seeds in situ or in pots during spring and plant out when big enough. Good as a cut flower both fresh and dried. Best sown where they are to flower in spring. Sow 3mm (1/8in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. hin out the seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart. They will grow in sun and prefer a deep rich soil but are happy on most garden soils.
