The variety is winter-hardy, resistant to drought and lodging. The growing season is 120-128 days. The content of alkaloids in the raw material is on average 1.0%. At the initial stages of organogenesis, plants of the Krasavka variety have a green color with anthocyanin. In the first year of vegetation, plants are 0.8-1.2 m high, and in the second and subsequent years - 1.5-2.0 m.
The stem is branched in diameter up to 3 cm, intensely covered with anthocyanin. Leaves are entire, ovate-pointed, petiolate, dark green in color, pubescent below. Leaf blades are on average 35cm long and 16cm wide.
The plant foliage is about 60%. The flowers are bell-shaped, drooping. The color of the flowers is brown-violet, with a yellowish tinge at the base. Corolla 3 cm long, 2.5-3 cm wide. Fruit is two-nested, multi-seeded, juicy, violet-black berry, shiny on a long stalk. The root system of the variety is powerful.
The whole plant contains the alkaloid hyoscyamine. Atropine - the main alkaloid of the plant, has antispasmodic and neurogenic properties. It reduces the tone of the intestines, uterus, bronchi and other smooth muscle organs.
