Mustard Salad "Mitsuna Red"
Japanese mustard salad with red leaves. Early ripening variety, the period from sowing to harvest does not exceed 25 days. The leaves are narrow, finely carved. The salad is similar in properties to arugula, although it has a more delicate texture. The taste is spicy with a light aroma of freshly ground pepper, unique and special. Helps strengthen immunity, prevents cancer.
Used for making salads. Seeds germinate at a temperature of + 10C for 3-4 days after sowing. For a month forms a powerful openwork outlet. Mizuna is grown year-round on the windowsill, as well as in the open ground.
Agrotechnics:
Lettuce is sown early in the spring, as soon as the soil is ready for cultivation, it can be sown before winter. In order to continuously receive fresh produce during the season, the salad is sown repeatedly, every 7-10 days, until August. Sow seeds on ridges in an ordinary way with a distance of 15-20 cm row from row into shallow grooves, the seeding rate of 0.3 grams per 1 m². Seeding depth 0.5-1 cm.
When mass shoots appear in thickened places, lettuce is thinned, leaving distances in the row for leaf varieties 6-8 cm and for cabbage 10-15 cm.
