Head salad “May Queen”
Early ripe salad. The vegetation period from seedlings to technical ripeness is 30-50 days. It forms a large rosette of yellow-green bubble leaves weighing 250-300 grams. The leaves are sweet, juicy, oily, without bitterness.
For constant fresh greens, lettuce is sown every 10-15 days. Grown in open ground and film shelters.
Agrotechnics:
Lettuce is sown early in the spring, as soon as the soil is ready for cultivation, it can be sown before winter. In order to continuously receive fresh produce during the season, the salad is sown repeatedly, every 7-10 days, until August. Sow seeds on ridges in an ordinary way with a distance of 15-20 cm row from row into shallow grooves, the seeding rate of 0.3 grams per 1 m². Seeding depth 0.5-1 cm.
When mass shoots appear in thickened places, lettuce is thinned, leaving distances in the row for leaf varieties 6-8 cm and for cabbage 10-15 cm.
