Statice has been cultivated since the mid-17th century as a garden flower, but also as an herb which was used for the treatment of dysentery as well as other ailments. Statice produces its flowers in the brightly coloured bracts.

Lilac Godetia is native to Southern California and a few other warm climates. It is also called Farewell-to-Spring. Godetia, easily grown from flower seeds, blooms from late spring into the summer, producing spindly, waxy stems and sparse narrow leaves.

Light-Blue Morning Glory is a fine decorative annual vine. This plant produces lovely purple flowers that without a doubt are its main ornamental quality. Flowering from July to October.

Blue needle petal china aster (Callistephus chinensis) is a wonderful variety with intensely coloured, cornflower-blue, thin-as-needles petals that are bundled in round, double, beautiful inflorescences.

This is a Siberian monster. Most of the tomatoes were in the ¾ pound range. Very juicy with bold old fashion tomato flavor. A standout in the garden and one I will grow again. The Russian name for this tomato is Medvezhiya Lapa.

Medium-sized, mid-season, productive variety, flat-rounded lods, bright orange outside and inside, very fleshy, juicy, oily, with sweetness and sourness, very tasty and pleasantly fragrant, weighing 250-600 grams.

Large-fruited, tall with fruits of unusual color and original taste, weighing 200-300 grams, one of the best salad varieties of medium ripening.
