White birch-leaved spirea / Spiraea betulifolia
The white cloud of this delightful shrub pleases the eye in the summer; in the fall its foliage burns with fire. Bush height up to 50cm. Undemanding to soil, drought-resistant, loves open sunny places or light garden partial shade.
Propagated vegetatively or by seeds with sowing before winter or early spring. They overwinter well in harsh winter conditions without additional shelter.
Used for landscaping roadside areas and places with a lack of irrigation water, it will feel great in your garden and will become your favorite. Like any tree-like shrub, it wants rejuvenation every five years - spring pruning of the stump will benefit a slim figure.
