«Redy» - Organic Onion Seeds

Riding the wave from late summer to early fall, this healthy, robust leek produces strong, upright, uniform plants. Straight, clean white shanks are topped with blue-green leaves for an overall height of 14-16 inches.

A semi-sweet variety of onion for salad use, ripens well by the time of harvesting, amphora-shaped bulbs weighing 100-150 grams, purple-red in color, taste and nutritional qualities are very high.

A biennial plant, Shallot bulb consists of many cloves, like garlic, it is smaller than that of onions, but it ripens earlier and stores excellently, more often Shallots are grown for mild, tender, tasty greens.

Perique has leaves that are medium-sized, glossy in texture, gummy and tough but have fine fiber with small stems. It has been historically used as a smoking, chewing, cigar, and cigarette variety.

Breeded in 1983 by the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the method of interspecific and intraspecific hybridization with the participation of varieties: American 572 + American 361.

'Zimmer Spanish' is an old cigar binder-type variety dating back prior to 1880. It is said to be an improved "Havana-type" like 'Wilson's Hybrid'. The suckered plants reach about four feet in height producing fourteen to twenty quality leaves per plant.
