Refers to early productive varieties, which are cultivated to obtain early tasty greens. It is equally well cultivated throughout Ukraine. 45 cm high, the leaves are juicy, green, and have a semi-sharp taste.
You can only eat greens or leaves along with the bulbs. Cultivated for fresh use (added to salads, soups and other dishes). Also suitable for freezing to replenish vitamin deficiencies in winter. Onion has a high nutritional value and is indispensable in dietary nutrition.
Seeds can be sown as seedlings or directly in open ground. It is preferable to use the seedling method because the plants get sick less. Seedlings are planted when the threat of return frosts has passed. It is better to choose a site for plants with neutral or slightly acidic soil, nutritious and moist. Plants need to be watered regularly and abundantly so that the soil is moistened to a depth of 0.2 m. If the summer is rainy, watering can be reduced.
