«Karmazin» - Organic Beetroot Seeds

Beetroot Cylindra has long, red cylindrical roots making it the ideal variety for slicing. Cylindra has a great colour, is free from internal rings stores well and keeps its sweet flavour all season. Delicious served either as a hot vegetable.

This is a mid-ripening variety. Vegetation period is 85-95 days. The pulp is juicy, tender, dark in color. Roots are leveled, of medium size, round in shape. The skin is smooth. The variety is moderately cold-resistant, resistant to flowering.

High-yielding medium-ripening variety. Vegetation period from shoots to harvest is 130-145 days. Root crops large, 15-20 cm in length, 8-12 cm in diameter, cylindrical, light pink, weighing 1-2 kg.

High-yielding mid-ripening variety, the period from shoots to mass harvesting is 100-110 days. The yield is high, 4-5 kg/m². Roots are rounded, smooth, weighing 150-240 grams, aligned. Flesh is dark red, dense, without ringing, excellent taste qualities.

The roots of this ancient plant are rich in red alizarin and are the source of a strong red dye. The uniforms of the British Red Coats were dyed with madder root. It is a perennial plant growing to a height of approximately 100cm.

This small variety produces unique, yellow-striped fruit on a semi-determinate vine, the fruit are quite juicy, possess nice flavor, and range in size from a large marble to a ping pong ball, unique appearance makes it a real eye-catcher.
