Organic Manitoba maple Seeds (Acer Negundo)

Tree of Heaven seeds are relatively easy to germinate and grow. The dormancy within the seed is short and easily broken. The seeds first need to be soaked in water for between 48-72 hours. The water should then be fully drained and the seeds mixed.

Five-petalled white flowers, resembling big white bluebottle flies, bloom in June on this unusual, rarely-seen, much-branched shrub which grows most commonly in lush woods on slopes, and around fields, and was being cultivated in Britain by 1683.

Native to most of Europe except for the far south, and northern Asia this tough small to medium-sized tree is very tolerant of cold and exposure and is often found at high altitude on mountains-in the UK it occurs at up to 1 000m altitude.

Honeylocust is a fast growing deciduous flowering tree which is very tolerant of alkaline soils, salty soils and urban conditions. Young specimens can put on 2 to 3 feet of growth per year. Honeylocust usually obtains a height of 40 to 80 feet.

Fruits are flat-rounded, ribbed, yellow-orange in color, weighing 150-300 grams, good taste. The flesh is dense, the thickness of the walls is 8-9 mm. Recommended for growing outdoors and greenhouses. Used for cooking, fresh consumption and conservation.

This is a thermophilic culture. Grown as seedlings, and sowing in the ground. Plant height from 1 to 1.5 m. The leaves are wide, have a peculiar smell. Used for the production of tobacco products as well as to combat dangerous pests of agricultural crops.

This unusual little plant is originally from Europe. Known as Blue Pimpernel, it has a spreading habit which makes it well-suited for edging a border, as a general ground cover plant, and in pots and hanging baskets.
