Blue peony aster (Callistephus chinensis) with summer-sky coloured blooms outshines the majestic peonies, whom it owes its name. This original variety with untypically coloured blooms can become an exquisite decoration on every sunny corner.

The bright orange California Poppy wildflower was named for doctor-naturalist Johann Friedrich Gustav von Eschscholtz who was the surgeon for the Russian expedition team that dropped anchor in San Francisco in 1815.

Yellow Horned-poppy is a distinctive seaside plant with silvery grey leaves and large, bright yellow flower that develops into long, sickle shaped seed pods which look a little like horns. Flowering occurs from June to late September.

A vigorous plant with handsome, wavy-toothed leaves and attractive pale blue, bell-shaped flowers followed by ornamental papery Chinese lanterns. Branches of these can be dried and used for winter decoration indoors.
