Organic Swiss Pine Seeds (Pinus cembra)

Is an evergreen tall tree (up to 6-12 m in height and up to 3-5 m in width). Cedar pine has a dense crown. The shape is often indicated as pyramidal, but as growing experience shows, each tree has its own unique shape with a dense arrangement of branches. Cedar pine often has several tops. The needles are dark green, soft, 6-14 cm long. They grow in bunches of 5 needles.

Slow-growing, especially at a young age. In old trees, the bark cracks, forming decorative scales. Young shoots are dark brown.

It is better to plant cedar pine in clay soil rather than sandy soil. After planting, moderate watering is required, once every 3 days. It is recommended to feed annually with a solution of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. The European cedar pine has excellent frost resistance and durability. It loves sunny places.

In landscape design, the cedar pine can be used in combination with other deciduous and coniferous trees. It will be an excellent barrier from the wind on the site. One of the most smoke-resistant of all conifers. It is perfect for planting in industrial centers and cities. The air near the cedar pine is very fresh and even has some healing effect.
