The peppers of the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga chili ripen from green to orange and then red, possessing a hot, but also very fruity flavour. The picture shows an unripe moruga chili in its orange state.

In 2012, the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga was award the title of being the world’s hottest chili. It was cultivated on Trinidad and Tobago, an island nation off the coast of Venezuela, and boasts an average rating of 1,207,764 Scoville heat units.

The fruits are beautiful in the shape of a round cone, thick-walled. The sharpness is average. The variety is great for pickling. The bush is 40 cm high, fruitful.

One of the longest varieties in the Cayenne variety group, fruits are 15 cm long and thin, slightly curved, the plant is tall, up to 1 m, fruitful, used in sauces, for pickling, for tinctures on vodka, olive oil or vinegar with herbs.

Mid-season, productive variety. Bush indet. up to 2 m high. The fruits are flat-round, pink, have an unsurpassed sweet taste, some reach a weight of 1 kg. The variety is resistant to diseases and has an extended fruiting period.

A genus of marsupials with underground tuberous fleshy fruiting bodies, considered valuable delicacies, in the form of irregular tubers, usually 2-12 cm in size and weighing 30-300 grams, the surface is uneven, covered with a thin velvety skin.

A mid-early ripening variety, it ripens 100 days after planting the seedlings; thanks to its rapid ripening, two waves of harvest can be harvested in a season; it is suitable for fresh salads, canning, stuffing and pickling.
