The Asparagus Pea is an annual plant with partially reclining shoots; it grows 20 to 30 centimetres in length. In the summer, the shoots produce gorgeous scarlet flowers that are navicular in shape.

An early variety, the grains do not change their pleasant, sweetish taste and delicate structure when overripe, accumulate a significant amount of vitamin C and protein, the variety is intended for sale, fresh consumption, as well as canning and freezing.

A variety of asparagus beans, but with very long beans, which sometimes reach a length of 100-120 cm. Thermophilic culture, requires high supports, very decorative in the flowering stage and technical ripeness of the fruit.

Early variety (45-55 days). Determinate (bush) plant. Oval-cylindrical, green fruits with light strips, length 9-12 cm (3.5-4.5 in.), weight 70-130 g (2.5-4.5 oz.). Recommended for fresh use, canning and in salad.

Late-ripening muscat variety for baby and dietary nutrition, long-vine plant, cylindrical fruit, orange in color, weighing 3-4 kg, dark orange flesh, dense, crispy, sweet, very tender.

The Argentine adapts widely and resists fusarium wilt, crown rot and rust. As asparagus is a perennial, you plant it just once, and you will enjoy tasty spears for years. Bare roots can be planted as soon as they arrive in spring.

Silky, dark-purple flowers add a dramatic dimension to gardens and a lovely deep, rose-purple color to herb teas. Like other members of the mallow family, it helps sooth irritated mucous membranes. Described as early as 1629 by John Parkinson.
