The Japanese variety of bush pumpkin is completely without a specific pumpkin taste and smell, tastes like potatoes, goes well with vegetables and meat dishes, the fruits are round, ribbed, weighing from 1 to 3 kg, high productivity.

Fruits are round, slightly flattened, segmented, creamy white, with smooth bark, small, up to 10 centimeters in diameter and weighing 200-300 grams.

An annual plant with climbing or creeping shoots, ideal for planting arbors, fences or as a ground cover, retains its ornamental value until late spring.

Breeded in 1983 by the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the method of interspecific and intraspecific hybridization with the participation of varieties: American 572 + American 361.

Classic native hedging plant with medium green leaves which turn a lovely rich copper shade in autumn and persist all winter. Very tolerant of wind and shade and easy to trim into shape hence its popularity for hedging.
