Rumex sanguineus, known by a number of different common names including bloody dock or red-veined dock, is a tap-rooted rosette-forming perennial of the buckwheat family that typically grows in a rounded foliage clump to 18” tall and as wide.

This is the mid-early variety of spinach, the vegetation period is 40-45 days. The plant is compact, medium-sized, with large, thick, dark-green leaves. The variety is resistant to lightning and low temperatures.

A storehouse of vitamins and minerals, improves digestion, metabolism, strengthens the nervous system, increases potency, especially tender and juicy, with virtually no stalk fibers that will add a piquant taste and refined aroma.
