Annual plant. The stems are climbing, 2.5-3 m long. Flowers are 1-2 cm in diameter, 2-4 cm long, collected 9-12 in one-sided inflorescences. As they bloom, they change color from bright crimson to cream.
Used for vertical decoration of balconies, terraces, fences and gazebos. It is grown by sowing seeds for seedlings in March-April, or in open ground in April-May, after the threat of night frosts has passed. Used for vertical gardening and decoration, as well as for cutting.
