Mycelium of the mushroom «Rainbow ordinary» (Phallus impudicus)
Veselka vulgaris is a unique mushroom. Easy to breed. The mushroom picker is very powerful, grows in a radius of 3-5 meters. Can create symbiosis with many garden plants.
The mushroom is edible. Moreover, it is not just edible, but is the most powerful medicinal mushroom that even treats cancer. Vesselka polysaccharides cause the production of perforin in the body, which kills cancer cells: it makes holes in the cell membrane, and the cancer cell simply dies. Thus, perforin prevents them from dividing and forming into a tumor. In folk medicine, water and alcohol tinctures from fresh or dried fruit bodies of the veselka are used.
At first, the mushroom is very similar to an ordinary raincoat, but not so strong, but with a peculiar gelatinous pulp. Growing up to a certain size in a fairly long time for an ordinary mushroom - about a week, then the mushroom begins to show miracles. A small kidney pecks out of it, which quickly transforms into a fruit stem, and this stem begins to indomitably strive upwards, like a living being. The capped leg grows out of the egg very quickly, at a rate of 5 mm per minute. The fruit body reaches up to 25 cm in length, has a long thick, fragile stem empty inside and a cap covered with blue-green spores.
Only young eggs of the vessel are eaten. Before use, the outer shell is removed, then the egg is chopped smaller, washed down with sour cream, sniffed and eaten raw.
The place of cultivation at home is mainly shaded areas of the farmstead or rooms - basements, verandas, balconies, etc. Growing temperature 15-30°C. The best time for planting is late autumn (up to frost -5 ° C), so that mushrooms appear in spring, and from early spring to early summer - for harvesting in autumn. Veselka can be grown indoors all year round. In open areas, the mycelium will live 7-8 years, indoors - 5-6 years.
Garden and garden waste is used as a substrate: fallen fruits, weeds, leaves, garden tops, hay, straw, etc. All this is mixed and a ridge 20-25 cm high is formed. Mycelium is scattered evenly over the surface of the ridge, then covered with a layer of earth 5-7 cm thick. Watered by drip method once a week and not plentifully. It is not necessary to cover the mushroom picker planted before winter, because. she is not afraid of even the most severe frosts. And the heat released when the compost rots in the ridge is enough for the development of mycelium in the winter.
Planting in boxes in the premises occurs in a similar way. You just need to cover the compost with burlap until white hyphae appear on the surface. 10 grams of mycelium is enough to infect 1 square. m of compost. Amateur cultivation of mushrooms does not give a guaranteed result, since the growth of mushrooms is highly dependent on many factors.
A very important factor for the successful cultivation of mushrooms is the acidity of the soil. For veselka, the optimal value of acidity is Ph = 7-7.5. More acidic soil (the number of Ph is less) must be deacidified by watering with a solution of quicklime (100 grams of lime per 5 liters of water per 1 sq.m)

The fruiting body of a puffball mushroom develops within a few weeks and then begins to produce spores. The meat of giant puffballs tastes very similar to tofu or melted cheese when cooked. Puffballs may be sauteed, broiled, or breaded and fried.
